Yucaipa man, Riverside County boy arrested for suspicion of burglary, vandalism
YUCAIPA >> Deputies arrested a local man and a Riverside County teen boy early Wednesday morning related to a recent burglary.
Caston Clough, 18, of Yucaipa, was booked into the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino on suspicion of grand theft auto, residential burglary and felony vandalism. The teen, a reported runaway, was booked into San Bernardino Juvenile Hall on suspicion of residential burglary and vandalism.
Shortly after midnight, deputies were sent to the Yucaipa Community Church in the 34000 block of Avenue J for a report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot.
One of the deputies who arrived on scene recognized the car as a vehicle that been reported stolen two days earlier.
Both Clough and the boy were wanted for questioning in a recent residential burglary and vandalism case, according to a sheriff’s news release.
Clough is being held on $125,000 bail. He’s also being held on a no bail warrant in a previous case on suspicion of willfully causing harm or death to an elderly or dependant adult and probation violation.
