Woman stabbed in Wildomar, suspect sought

A woman was stabbed Sunday in Wildomar and hospitalized with a non life-threatening wound.

The stabbing was reported at 2:36 p.m. in the 33900 block of Mission Trail, said Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Mike Vasquez.

A suspect, believed to be a 5-foot-5 Hispanic woman in her 20s, fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle, Vasquez said.

The victim suffered a single stab wound, Vasquez said. No other details were available.
