Will it rain on Dodgers in World Series Game 6 — and on Halloween trick-or-treating?

A song once said “It Never Rains in California,” but songs in particular and the 1970s in general are not to be trusted, because it has already rained today — Tuesday, Oct. 31 — in Los Angeles.
But will it rain tonight? The Dodgers — down 3 games to 2 — are slated to begin Game 6 of the World Series against the Houston Astros at 5:20 tonight in Dodger Stadium.
And trick-or-treating traditionally begins just as the sun is going down for the younger set —
and into the evening for older children and the not-so-young.
According to the National Weather Service, it will be about 65 degrees in the downtown Los Angeles area at 5 p.m. with a 9 percent chance of rain. The relative humidity will be about 60 percent.
