Wherever you live, there’s an event to welcome in 2018 with music, dancing and maybe a little bubbly.


Candi Pop Dance Party: Lights & Music presents this turn-of-the-millennium-themed dance party extravaganza at The Satellite in Silver Lake. Attendees can spend their New Year’s Eve grooving to bubblegum pop favorites including Spice Girls, ‘N Sync, Madonna and Britney Spears, to name a few. Eve at Universal Studios Hollywood: The park will host its first New Year’s Eve celebration, with festivities continuing until 1 a.m. Besides all of the usual attractions, enjoy a park-wide countdown party with multiple, uniquely themed entertainment hubs and live music starting at 9 p.m. The event is included in normal park admission of $105-$116 for general admission; $179-$269 for front-of-line passes. Gates open at 9 a.m.
