UCLA update: UCLA is in danger of missing back-to-back bowl games for the first time since 1989-1990 after its 48-17 blowout loss to Utah on Friday in Salt Lake City. The Bruins must win two out of their final three games (home games against Arizona State and California with a road game at USC) to scrape together a .500 record with bowl eligibility. … The loss to Utah dropped the Bruins into second-to-last place in the Pac-12 South while also claiming the team’s top receiver Darren Andrews, who suffered a serious knee injury during the fourth quarter. The redshirt senior leads the team with 60 catches and 774 yards. His 10 touchdowns are third-most in the nation. … Quarterback Josh Rosen’s status is unclear after he missed last week’s game due to a concussion. Redshirt freshman quarterback Devon Modster completed his first seven passes for 101 yards during his first start, but was only 1-for-5 passing in the second half before injuring his thumb in the third quarter.

Arizona State’s last game: Arizona State came back from three 10-point deficits to beat Colorado 41-30 in Tempe, Ariz., on Saturday. The Sun Devils ran for 381 yards in the win, including 274 in the second half.
