What’s coming up this year at the Disneyland Resort

Well, here we are, thrust into a brand-new year without even fastening our seat belts. And, among the many vexing things on your mind, I’m sure the foremost is, “What’s happening at Disneyland Resort in 2018?”
Well, in order to give you peace of mind, here’s a list of the upcoming events that we know about, though of course there are plenty more that we’ll tell you as we get the word. Here’s what we know:
Jan. 14: Launch of a new express commuter bus service via San Bernardino and Riverside to Disneyland, also stopping at the Villages at Orange. Fare is $3 each way. Run by Riverside Transit.
Jan. 18: Disneyland After Dark. This “Throwback Night” inspired by the 1950s and 1960s requires a special $95 ticket and is a chance to get dressed up and show off your finery at the park. It runs from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. and includes souvenir keepsakes, live entertainment, a special fireworks show and the chance to ride some classic attractions. Jan. 26: The Lunar New Year Festival is back at Disney California Adventure, Jan. 26-Feb. 18 including a nighttime water show on Paradise Bay called “Hurry Home – Lunar New Year Celebration,” special Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese foods, Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession and more.
Presidents Day, Feb. 19: Disneyland fireworks, currently on hiatus, will return in time for President’s Day and then on weekends and daily during spring break until Pixar Fest.
