GOVERNMENT OFFICES: Federal, state, county and city offices will be closed Monday, New Year’s Day. Redlands City offices and City Hall closed Dec. 20, and will reopen Jan. 2.

MAIL DELIVERY: Mail will not be delivered Sunday or Monday.

FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS: Banks, savings and loans, and credit unions will be closed Sunday and Monday.

STORES: Most will be open Sunday but closing early. Most stores will be closed Monday.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Riverside Transit Agency and Dial-A-Ride will run on a regular schedule Sunday, operate on a Sunday schedule on Monday and resume a regular schedule Tuesday. Administrative offices will be closed Sunday and Monday. Omnitrans buses will run today but will not run on Monday, buses will resume a regular schedule on Tuesday. Administrative offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday. Metrolink: San Bernardino, 91/Perris Valley, Inland Empire-Orange County will run Sunday, on Monday will operate on Sunday schedule and will resume regular schedule Tuesday. The Riverside line will not run on Monday and will resume regular schedule on Tuesday.

LIBRARIES: Libraries in Riverside and San Bernardino counties libraries are closed Sunday and Monday.

SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES: Schools will not be in session.

GARBAGE PICKUP: Cities of Riverside and Redlands solid waste trash and recycling services, Waste Management and Burrtec will not have service Monday. Pickup will have a one day delay of service. Riverside and San Bernardino county landfills will be closed Sunday and Monday.
