Wedding dress retailer Alfred Angelo abruptly closes all store locations
By Timothy Guy
It looks like there are going to be a lot of people late to the altar.
In what seems out of nowhere, wedding dress retailer Alfred Angelo has closed all of its 60 locations in the United States, including locations in Riverside and Rancho Cucamonga, according to the Wall Street Journal and numerous television stations throughout the nation.
The reason for the abrupt closing? Bankruptcy protection for the Florida-based business.
News broke in the world of social media as brides showed up to various stores only to encounter locked doors and signs indicating the closures. Some are reporting that customers were directed to call a Florida lawyer with the business in order to get their purchases.
