About 20 Temecula residents were without water Tuesday, Jan. 2, after a water line began leaking.
Meggan Valencia, a spokeswoman for Rancho California Water District, said the district was alerted to a slow leak in the late afternoon on Monday, Jan. 1.
Valencia said staff went out to the site Tuesday and determined it was a small main line leak. She estimated water would be turned on by 2 p.m.
The impacted area was a neighborhood south of Pechanga Parkway and east of Rainbow Valley Boulevard. Streets affected included Bayhill Drive, Olympic Way, Clubhouse Drive and Tournament Lane, according to the Rancho California Water District website.
