Victim in Thursday hit and run fatality identified as Wildomar resident

WILDOMAR >> The 47-year-old man who died Thursday night after being struck by a hit and run driver in Wildomar has been identified as Rudolph McCreight, a Riverside County Coroner’s statement said Saturday evening.

McCreight was a Wildomar resident.

The incident happened in the area of Bundy Canyon Road and Harvest Way.

The driver of the vehicle has not been located, a Riverside County sheriff’s official said Saturday night.

A Sheriff’s Traffic Reconstruction Team based in Lake Elsinore is conducting a full investigation to determine the cause of the collision and to locate the driver and vehicle involved in the incident.

Investigators are seeking the assistance of the community to locate the driver and vehicle. Anyone who believes they may have information about the collision is encouraged to contact Officer Willow at (951) 245-3300.
