Upland man wanted in connection to series of Redlands vehicle burglaries arrested in Highland
An Upland man arrested in a stolen vehicle in Highland is suspected of a series of vehicle break-in in Redlands were several pieces of personal information were taken, San Bernardino County sheriff’s officials said Tuesday.
Around 10 a.m. Christmas morning, deputies from the Highland Station responded to a report of a stolen vehicle near the area of Fifth Street and Central Avenue, according to a news release. Deputies found Todd Cartwright, 39, of Upland in the vehicle and arrested him on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle.
Through an investigation, authorities found stolen identification cards, credit cards, a wallet, and other items taken from several vehicle burglaries in Redlands the day before, according to the sheriff’s statement.
Cartwright was booked at Central Detention Center and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
