Two named executive fellows for UC Riverside business school

Beverly Bailey and Candace Wiest have been named executive fellows of the UC Riverside School of Business for the upcoming academic year.

In their new roles, Bailey and Wiest will aim to connect business leaders with students and faculty. This is a one-year position.

Bailey is the president and chief executive officer of Stronghold Engineering, a Riverside-based international design and construction company.­­­­­­­­­­­­ She founded the firm 25 years ago, and is now ranked in the top ten minority/women-owned construction companies in the nation, according to a UC Riverside news release.

Wiest is the president and chief executive officer of West Valley Bancorp and West Valley National Bank. She was previously the president of Inland Empire National Bank in Riverside, and she has served twice as a director of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, the news release said.
