This Ontario bakery is heating things up with Flaming Hot Cheetos cake pops
Looking to add a little heat to your Valentine’s Day? My Delight Cupcakery in Ontario has a spicy treat on the menu.
The shop’s employees are encouraged to pitch ideas for new flavors and the Flaming Hot Cheetos cake pop is the brainchild of Jason Martinez and Vincent Zepeda.
When a photo of the bright orange orb popped up on the shop’s Instagram, it was a hit. And among the comments on the photo, someone tagged Richard Montañez, the creator of Flaming Hot Cheetos.
“He contacted us and said he wanted to try it,” said co-owner Naomi Martinez. “He actually came down here and tried them and said he loved them!”
As a creative person, owner Martinez said she is always looking for new flavors and enjoys marrying different and unexpected tastes, but said being able to introduce those who have not experienced them and have her creations so well-received is encouraging.
The shop also has a couple of other special creations for the holiday–cupcakes inspired by mazapan and gansito treats.
