These photos show the similarities between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure’s Halloween displays
The Halloween — or Haul-O-Ween — spirit transcends time and space at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Can you tell which park is which in this split-view monster mash slideshow?
There are similarities, like Oogie Boogie’s presence at both parks, but differences in the presentation. It’s projected on the grounds of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion, but barely noticeable as patrons walk through the image and only visible at dark. The figure is very prominent, though, hovering over Disney California Adventure’s entrance.
“The Orange Tree” at Disneyland contrasts with the purple lights strung on the trees at Cars Land where Haul-O-Ween is celebrated. The giant Mickey pumpkin along Main Street U.S.A. is winking while the view towards DCA’s Radiator Springs is less delightful.
