“Hello, Bayside.”

If Mr. Belding’s morning greeting on Tuesday, Oct. 24, doesn’t take you back, then perhaps his video announcement unveiling the Los Angeles location of the “Saved by the Bell“-themed pop-up diner Saved by the Max will trigger a rush of nostalgia.

What is Saved By the Max?

Saved by the Max recreates the look and feel of the popular hangout The Max featured in the ’90s teen sitcom complete with neon signs, splashy diner booths, and vintage arcade games.

Fresh off a one year sold-out run in Chicago, the L.A. experience is what the pop-up’s co-partner Derek Berry calls “the ultimate homecoming” that promises “to transport fans back to Bayside and fully immerse them in the universe of the show.”

Where is Saved by the Max?

The restaurant will pop up at 7100 Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood as the first stop on a nationwide tour.

Construction is set to begin soon.
