The hissing sound of a welding gun filled the afternoon air inside the Warfighter Made garage.

Nearby, Rob Blanton, co-founder and CEO of Warfighter Made, described how the Temecula-based nonprofit group provides customized vehicles to military veterans who were wounded in combat.

In a hat, sweatshirt and shorts, the 21-year Marine Corps veteran walked around the garage and described work being done to a Polaris General off-road vehicle.
