Teenage girl, 16, accused of stabbing elderly Apple Valley man to death

A 16-year-old Apple Valley girl has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the stabbing death of an elderly Apple Valley man Saturday, July 22, authorities said.
The female, who was not named because of her age, knew the victim and stabbed him multiple times after an argument at his apartment, a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department news release stated.
Deputies were called at 3:46 p.m. Saturday to victim Willie Hunter’s residence in the 12700 block of Kiowa Road, where he was found dead. Investigators contacted the suspect early Sunday, July 23, interviewed her and booked her into juvenile hall.
