Six other girls volleyball teams to watch in 2017

ELSINORE — The Tigers have won five consecutive Sunbelt League titles, the past four with Renee Horton as coach. Horton and her players should make it six in row this season.

HEMET — The Bulldogs have won or shared the Mountain Pass League title every season since joining the league in 2010. Joe Schnake looks to keep the program at the top of the standings.

LOMA LINDA ACADEMY — The Roadrunners made the most of a second chance last season by reaching a state regional final. Coach Jane Chafeh returns all but one player from last year’s team.

YUCAIPA — The Thunderbirds got help in the final week to win the Citrus Belt League championship in outright fashion. Amber von Kaenel’s squad are the favorite to repeat as CBL champs.
