Shooter at large from Lake Elsinore incident

Police in Riverside County were advised Wednesday morning, June 14, of a shooter on the loose from a situation in Lake Elsinore.

A county-wide advisory regarding the situation was broadcast on police scanners about 5:30 a.m., warning police from Riverside County law enforcement agencies that a manager was shot at the Circle K on Lakeshore Drive earlier in the morning, and that the shooter fled the scene in a white car.

Riverside County Sheriff’s Department officials responded to a call from the Press-Enterprise regarding the incident, but did not release any information by 6:15 a.m.

Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department paramedics responded to the incident, according to the department’s website. By 6 a.m. they had left the scene.
