Service set for late Hemet band director Jeff Tower

A memorial service for longtime Hemet High band director Jeff Tower will be July 22 at Fellowship in the Pass, 650 Oak Valley Parkway, Beaumont. Tower died July 4 from brain cancer. He was 63.
Tower was the band director at Hemet High for 30 years during which time his bands recorded albums and toured the nation and the world.
A memorial concert to raise money for Tower’s family will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, July 13, at the Diamond Valley Arts Arts Center, 123 N. Harvard St. in Hemet.
