San Jacinto seeking three planning commissioners

San Jacinto is taking applications for three seats on the Planning Commission.
The five-member panel meets monthly and makes recommendations on land use and development. The San Jacinto City Council appoints members to four-year terms. Members receive a stipend of $175 a month. After an interview by a subcommittee, the City Council is expected to make the appointments at its Feb. 6 meeting.
Applicants must live in San Jacinto or within its sphere of influence. Applications are available at City Hall, 595 S. San Jacinto Ave. or online at ci.san-jacinto.ca.us. They must be submitted by 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22.
