Rumbling, 3.0 quake felt from Wrightwood to Pinon Hills

A 3.0 magnitude earthquake rattled the area between Wrightwood in the San Gabriel Mountains and Pinon Hills in the high desert at 10:43 a.m. Monday, July 10, according to a U.S. Geological Survey report.
The shaking was described as light from Wrightwood north to Pinon Hills and east to Phelan, according to the quake shake map. The tremor was about two miles from Pinon Hills and five miles from Wrightwood.
Mountain High ski resort in Wrightwood said in a tweet that the rumbling quake “had the cabins shaking for a second.”
