Riverside’s Marcy Library to screen “The African Queen”

Riverside’s Marcy Library will show the classic movie, “The African Queen,” at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 29.

Admission is free.

Released in 1951 and directed by John Huston, “The African Queen” stars Katharine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart, both of whom took home Oscars the following year for their roles as Rose Sayer and Charlie Allnutt.

The screening is part of the Marcy Library’s “Movie Classics for Grown-Ups” series. The library is at 6927 Magnolia Ave., Riverside.
