Riverside woman dies weeks after being injured on Jurupa Valley roadway

A 55-year-old Riverside woman died Sunday, Feb. 11, at Riverside Community Hospital almost three weeks after she suffered injuries in a roadway incident in Jurupa Valley, according to a Riverside County coroner’s news release.
Nancy Varela was injured at 4:24 p.m. Jan. 22 at the intersection of Limonite Avenue and Clay Street in Jurupa Valley. She died at 8:20 p.m. Sunday.
No information was available Monday about what happened to her. The Riverside County sheriff’s Jurupa Valley station is handling the investigation.
