Resurfacing of Murrieta Road in Menifee is over
By David Downey
The resurfacing of a mile-long section of an important southwest Riverside County artery has been completed.
Menifee officials announced Thursday, Dec. 7, that it has finished filling cracks in and paving Murrieta Road between Rouse Road and Ethanac Road.
Murrieta Road is a busy north-south corridor in the fast-growing city. The improved section carries about 7,300 vehicles per day, a news release stated.
The $550,000 project was funded by Measure DD, a 1-percent sales tax measure passed by Menifee voters in 2016.
