Rancho Cucamonga senior citizen reported missing

Mary Curwick’s family last talked to her Friday, May 12, and for an unknown reason her car was seen in the port city of San Pedro a day later, according to a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department report of her mysterious disappearance.

Deputies went to her home in the 9800 block of 19th Street in Rancho Cucamonga about 4:06 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, and learned from a neighbor that her residence door was left open and he had not seen her for several days, the news release stated.

Deputies are seeking the public’s help to find her. Curwick, 83, is described as a white female, 5-feet, 2-inches tall, 150 pounds, with hazel eyes and short gray hair. She is believed to be driving her 2014 black Ford Fiesta with a California license plate of 7DHH239. The vehicle has moderate front passenger fender damage.

The car was last seen at 9:21 p.m. Saturday in the West Ninth Street area of San Pedro. Authorities did not share information about what led them to San Pedro.
