Public’s help sought to identify Fontana armed robbery suspect

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s investigators have released a photo of a suspect wanted in the Dec. 16 robbery of a convenience store in Fontana, according to a news release issued Tuesday, Jan. 9.

Deputies responded at about 6:26 p.m. to the Circle K in the 14000 block of Valley Boulevard.

The suspect covered his face with a black bandana, pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money from the store cash register. The suspect ran away on foot prior to the deputies’ arrival.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5-feet, 5-inches tall, 140 to 160 pounds, bald, wearing a dark black sweatshirt, black/dark gray jeans, gray skater shoes, with a tattoo on the right side of his head behind the right ear and possibly another tattoo and face scarring on his right cheek.
