An Eastvale family fled their home in fear Thursday morning, Feb. 8, after an unknown man entered without their consent, but he later left in handcuffs thanks to a Sheriff’s K-9.

Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Departments Eastvale station were called to the home in the 6800 block of Lindsay Street around 7:15 a.m., according to a news release by Sgt. Julio De Leon.

Alfredo Hernandez, 20, of Eastvale, was found hiding in the home and arrested, De Leon said. He was later booked into Robert Presley Detention Center on suspicion of burglary, resisting arrests and a parole violation, according to jail records, and was being held without bail.
