Pickleball players, Temecula now has 3 courts available for you
By Shane Newell
Whether you prefer indoors or outdoors, Pickleball enthusiasts now have a home in Temecula.
The city is allowing the public to play on three courts across the city. Similar to tennis, badminton and ping-pong, the sport is played using paddles and a whiffle ball.
The indoor court is located at the Community Recreation Center, 30875 Rancho Vista Road. Adults can play on Sundays from 5 to 7 p.m. while teens can play upon request Monday through Friday between 2:45 and 4 p.m.
The outdoor courts can be found at Margarita Community Park, 29119 Margarita Road, and Pala Community Park, 44900 Temecula Lane. Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Equipment can be checked out at the recreation center. For the outdoor courts, residents must bring their own equipment.
