From Arlington Heights Sports Park through Citrus State Historical Park and Victoria Avenue, the Citrus Heritage Run on Saturday, Jan. 6, took nearly 2,000 runners through Riverside for a marathon, half-marathon, 5K or 1-mile kids’ fun run.

It was the ninth year of the Citrus Heritage Run and the second time it was put on as a marathon, according to the Riverside Road Runners, the running, walking and fitness club that organizes the event.
