Otter Pops set up pop-up shop at select Inland Stater Bros. stores
By Timothy Guy
For many students, summer is starting to come to an end.
While parents celebrate there is still time to enjoy summertime with a childhood treat. Do you remember Otter Pops? The sugar juice ice pops in the plastic containers? They are hip, fresh and headed to the Inland area.
The icy treat is going on a Otter Pop Vibes Tour hitting supermarkets and stores with an interactive experience. And, of course, lots of sugar.
The Otter Pops Bungalow, a take on the tiny house trend, will be set up at the Stater Bros. in Grand Terrace Saturday, July 29 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. And the San Jacinto location Sunday, July 30 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Inside, visitors will come into contact with a “pop tender” who offers up all the flavors included lime, grape, punch, strawberry, raspberry and orange. Since it’s a bungalow, there will be seats for lounging, flat-screen TVs, games and more.
The event is also an introduction of a new product, Otter Pops Beach Breakers, which takes the classic flavors and turns them into a sorbet-like snack.
