Ontario man killed after car hits tree

A 22-year-old Ontario man was killed early Monday, Dec. 25 after his car hit a tree, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office.
The man was driving eastbound in the 500 block of W. Mission Boulevard in Ontario around 12:21 a.m. at a high rate of speed, officials said. The 1997 Jaguar lost control for unknown reasons and hit a tree in the center median.
The man, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ontario police are investigating.
