One injured in Moreno Valley fire that emitted heavy smoke

MORENO VALLEY>>A house fire that let out heavy smoke and left one person injured was contained Friday, fire officials said.

The blaze was reported in the 23000 block of Mark Twain in Morono Valley, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said in a prepared statement.

The injured civilian was taken to a local hospital. The statement did not say how the person was injured but did say their injuries were minor.

There were 22 firefighters at the scene during peak firefighting operations..
