Netflix renews ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’

Netflix has renewed the critically-acclaimed comedy series “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” for a fourth season. The series stars Ellie Kemper as a woman who is been trying to readjust tor life after being kidnapped and held prisoner for years in a bunker by a deranged reverend.
Executive producers include Tina Fey and Robert Carlock.
In Season 3, Kimmy decides to attend college after obtaining her GED. The series, which also stars Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski and Carol Kane, has already collected 11 Emmy nominations for its first two seasons and is expected to pick up more when nominations are announced next month. Emmy voting began June 12.
