Murrieta Valley schools looking for new board member
Murrieta Valley Unified School District officials are looking for candidates to replace board member Barbara Muir, who is stepping down Sept. 1 due to health reasons.
The board will appoint a replacement to serve the remainder of Muir’s term, which expires in November 2018. Candidates must be at least 18, registered to vote in the MVUSD boundaries and not disqualified from holding a civil office.
If a district employee applies and is appointed, that person’s employment would be terminated upon being sworn into office.
Application packets are available at the District Support Center, 41870 McAlby Court, Murrieta, or by download at murrieta.k12.ca.us/Page/32354. Applications are due by noon, Aug. 7 to the office, or can be attached to an e-mail and sent to Laura Gonzales at email@example.com.
