Motorcyclist who died in Riverside crash identified
A 62-year-old Riverside man was identified Saturday as the motorcyclist who died earlier in the week in a Chicago Avenue crash in the city.
Edward Cellucci was killed in the 5:30 p.m. Wednesday incident on the avenue, between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Le Conte Drive. He was identified by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
Police said a southbound Infinti made a U-turn in front of Cellucci, who was heading in the same direction as the car. Cellucci struck the car and was ejected from his motorcycle. The driver of the Infiniti was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said at the time.
The crash was under review by the Riverside Police Department’s major accident investigation team.
