Motorcyclist ejected in crash on 10 Freeway in Redlands
A crash involving a motorcyclist prompted authorities to issue a SigAlert on the westbound 10 Freeway late Friday morning, June 16.
Shortly before 11:30 a.m. the California Highway Patrol began receiving reports of the crash. According to CHP traffic logs, the motorcyclist, traveling at speeds nearing 100 mph, rear-ended a vehicle ejecting the rider.
CHP officers conducted a traffic break to allow medical help to reach the scene.
The number 1 and 2 lanes are closed down for the investigation and traffic is backed up to Orange Street.
The condition of the motorcyclist is unknown.
