Moreno Valley murder suspect being held on $1 million bail
MORENO VALLEY – A man accused of killing a woman was arrested in
Moreno Valley, a sheriff’s sergeant said Saturday.
Deputies responded to an assault-with-a-deadly-weapon call at 2:12
a.m. Friday in the 23200 block of Hemlock Avenue, just off of the 60 freeway, said Sgt. Ben Ramirez of the Riverside County Sheriff’s
Authorities found a woman suffering from serious injuries, and paramedics took her to a hospital where she later died, Ramirez said.
Deputies quickly located and stopped the suspect vehicle, leading to
the arrest of Krystoffer Hicks, 26, of Moreno Valley on suspicion of murder.
Hicks was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center where he
remained in lieu of $1 million bail.
