It’s no secret that country star Miranda Lambert has suffered a bit of heartache lately. The 34-year-old Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter endured a very public split from her husband and fellow country artist Blake Shelton back in 2015.

Instead of letting the gossip headlines and rumors get the best of her, Lambert did what she does best and headed into the studio with her trusted team of songwriters to turn heartache into a slew of well-crafted, snarky and at times tear-jerking tracks that make up her sixth studio album and double-disc, “The Weight of These Wings.”

If her stunning performance of the single “Tin Man” during the televised 2017 American Country Music Awards brought a tear to your eye, wait until you see and hear it in person. As she grabbed her acoustic guitar with its bedazzled, sparkling strap and stepped into the solo spotlight in front of a sold-out crowd at the Forum in Inglewood Saturday night to sing the hauntingly emotional tune, there wasn’t a dry eye in the pit.
