Menifee traffic stop leads to drug bust

Three people landed in jail after a Menifee traffic stop lead to a drug bust, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Officers from the Menifee Special Enforcement Team conducted a traffic enforcement stop near the intersection of Westlink Drive and Newport Road around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9 and found the Menifee residents in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, according to a news release by Sgt. Sam Morovich.
The occupants, Victoria Madrigal, 52, Erika Fletchal, 29, and Travis Schulz, 25, were all booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center for drug-related crimes, the department said.
Officers obtained a search warrant for Madrigal’s home in the 29000 block of St. Andrews Drive and found more methamphetamine, cocaine, drug indicia and seven firearms, police said
