People whose lives have been affected by myasthenia gravis plan to gather to celebrate MG patients, physicians and caregivers, and raise awareness and funds this weekend at the annual Inland Empire MG Walk.

The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, Nov. 19, at Menifee’s Spirit Park, 25507 Normandy Road. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk will start at 10 a.m., according to a news release.

At this year’s event, Esther and David Bolger are scheduled to be honored as Inland Empire MG Walk Local Heroes.

Money raised through the event will go to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America, the news release stated. The funds will help support research initiatives, advocacy efforts, programs and services, and resources for those living with MG.
