McCree leads Salt Lake City Stars over AC Clippers

Erik McCree hit a three-pointer with just seconds on the clock to give the Salt Lake City Stars the 104-103 victory over the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario at the Lifetime Activities Center-Bruin Arena in Taylorsville, Utah.
The Clippers led by as many as 18 points in the first half and by double-digits in the third quarter before Salt Lake City went on a 15-7 run to close the gap to four.
Aqua Caliente extended their lead to seven in the fourth, but the Stars were able to tie it up on back-to-back threes with 21 seconds left to play.
The Stars’ Chane Behanan fouled JJ O’Brien, who made both of his free throws to give the Clippers a one-point lead with 4.7 seconds on the clock.
Isaiah Cousins dished the ball to McCree, who drained a three-pointer giving the Stars the victory with just under two seconds left to play.
McCree led the Stars with 23 points. Meanwhile, O’Brien led all scorers with 32 points.
LaDontae Henton followed with 19 points. Marshall Plumlee had a season-high 16 points to go along with 12 rebounds, while Ike Iroegbu contributed 14 points.
Brice Johnson had a career-high 15 boards.
ACC drops to 13-11 on the season after the loss.
