Man’s body found by Hemet bank building

Hemet police and Riverside County Sheriff/Coroner’s Office investigators said there were no signs of trauma or foul play in the death of a man who was found near a bank in the city Sunday evening, July 9, according to a news release.

Hemet firefighters answered a 5:45 p.m. call and found the body near the Union Bank in the 800 block of East Florida Avenue.

Hemet police took over the investigation, categorizing it as an unattended death. The victim’s name will not be released until relatives are notified.
