Man found dead in car that crashed into mobile home, following shooting report in Homeland
HOMELAND >> Deputies responding to a report Thursday afternoon of a shooting in Homeland found a person dead inside a car that crashed into a mobile home.
Deputies were dispatched about 4 p.m. to investigate a possible shooting in the 30900 block of Paradise Palms Drive and found a vehicle crashed into a home and a dead male inside, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
“The investigation is ongoing and there are no additional details to provide,” according to sheriff’s Deputy Armando Munoz, who said the department has “not confirmed any details regarding a shooting.”
Munoz said the scene was active and homicide detectives have been dispatched to the location, west of Hemet.
A videographer at the scene said the car was almost fully inside the one-story mobile home.
