Man believed to be homeless found dead in Corona
A man who was believed to be homeless and who had a medical condition was found dead Saturday afternoon, Dec. 23, near Rimpau Avenue and 6th Street in Corona, police said.
The man, believed to be in his 50s, was discovered near the bushes in the 600 block of Rimpau, a Corona police spokesman said. There was no evidence of foul play.
Police were alerted to the area after receiving a report of a man down at 4:04 p.m., Corona police Sgt. Chad Fountain said.
The man’s identity has not been released, pending notification of his next of kin, Fountain added.
