Lake Elsinore looking to fill public safety panel opening

Lake Elsinore officials are looking for someone to serve on the city’s Public Safety Advisory Commission.
With the recent resignation of Commissioner Chris Hyland, there is a vacancy on the five-member panel that advises the city on public safety matters, according to an official city notice. The term from the open seat, to be filled by appointment, runs through June 30, 2019.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and either reside within the city limits of Lake Elsinore or own a licensed and established business in the city. They must submit to a background check administered by the Lake Elsinore Police Department and fill out an application at: http://www.lake-elsinore.org/city-hall/city-departments/city-clerk/appeals-forms
The deadline is 5 p.m. Jan. 17.
