L.A. County trio arrested in Rancho Cucamonga identity theft case, deputies say

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a trio of suspects in an identity theft case Tuesday, Jan. 2, after investigating reports of fraudulent credit card use at a Rancho Cucamonga hotel, according to a sheriff’s news release.
Two women paid for their Hilton Garden Inn hotel room using a fraudulent card and through investigation deputies learned a man also had paid for his room with a fraudulent card, the news release stated.
Deputies responded to the hotel at 4:20 p.m. They recovered narcotics and equipment used to make fraudulent cards along with counterfeit money inside the suspects’ rental vehicles and hotel rooms, the release said.
Jason Andrew Schoen, 37, of Los Angeles; Yvonne Joanna Sandoval, 31, of Commerce and Brittany McCloskey, 31, of Downey were booked at the West Valley Detention Center on suspicion of identity theft. Bail for each was set at $50,000.
