Two parolees who were allegedly discovered to be in possession of stolen mail remained behind bars Saturday accused of identity theft.

Lisa Ann Haring, 26, of Jurupa Valley and John Anthony Morgan, 56, of Upland were reportedly loitering in the parking lot of a business Thursday afternoon in the 6300 block of Valley Way when they were detained by Riverside County sheriff’s deputies, Sgt. Donovan Brooks said.

“During this encounter, stolen mail and evidence related to identity theft was located,” he said.

The two were arrested and booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility on suspicion of violating parole, conspiracy to commit a felony and identity theft, according to Brooks.

A man who was accompanying the duo was also arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and petty theft, but was later released after posting $10,000 bail.
