Jurupa Valley man, 62, accused of sexually abusing a child in Highland

Authorities arrested a 62-year-old Jurupa Valley man Tuesday in connection with a Highland molestation case, according to a San Bernardino County sheriff’s Highland station statement.

Robert Luna Uribe was arrested on suspicion of lewd acts with a child and digital penetration by force, according to authorities. He was booked into West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga in lieu of $500,000 bail.

Investigators from the Sheriff’s Valley Gang Enforcement Team assisted Highland station deputies arrest Uribe at his home in the 10400 block of 58th Street in the Mira Loma section of Jurupa Valley, according to sheriff’s reports and booking information.

Details into the crime, including when it took place, the relationship between the victim and Uribe, and what led to the investigation, were not released.
