MEN’S SOCCER

Cal Baptist 2, Concordia 1:
The Lancers remain undefeated in the Pacific West Conference after defeating the Concordia Eagles at home.
After a scoreless first half, Joey Chica scored a goal from 20 yards out with an assist from Chris Heckenberg in the 51st minute of action.
The Eagles tied the game 1-1 less than 10 minutes later.
In the 82nd minute, Junior Guerra found Caley Powers who sent the ball into the box where Aidan Apodaca tapped it in.
After the Eagles were awarded a free kick with just two seconds on the clock, Lancers’ goalkeeper Edgar Benitez made a crucial save as CUI put a shot on goal.
With the win, CBU improves to 8-0-1 overall and 4-0-0 in conference.
U of R 7, Caltech 0:
Collin ChubbFertal scored three goals in the University of Redlands’ conference win over the Beavers at home.
Cameron Doody supplied two goals and Casey ChubbFertal scored one and made two assists.
Nick Susac scored the final goal with less than three minutes remaining.
Goalie Josh Haskill made a save in his 59 minutes and 49 seconds of play.
The Bulldogs improve to 9-3 overall, 8-0 in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

WOMEN’S SOCCER

Claremont-M-S 2, U of R 1:
Madison Mills scored the University of Redlands’ lone goal in its SCIAC loss at home.
Hayley Romo and Rachel Tungol each made an assist.
Hannah Menk made two saves in the first 75 minutes and 11 seconds of play, Brittany Dinkins took over the final 14:49 to make one save.
Redlands is now 6-4-0 overall, 3-4-0 in conference.
Cal Baptist 3, Concordia 2:
Desarae Felix scored two goals for the Lancers as they took its fourth-straight Pacific West Conference victory with a win over Concordia at home.
Miranda Hald also contributed a goal in the Lancers’ victory.
